Brown Spots

One sign of aging skin is the formation of brown spots on the skin. These brown spots are also known as lentigines, sun spots, age spots and liver spots. They are flat, usually found on the face, neck and backs of the hands, and are caused by sunlight exposure. There are numerous treatments to improve these spots depending on the severity and location of the discoloration, which include freezing (cryotherapy), very light burning (electrodessication) and laser.
