Smile Lines

Smile lines, also known as crow's feet, are wrinkles that form around the eyes when we contract our facial muscles during smiling and squinting. Smoking, aging and sun damage contribute to the development of smile lines as well. In some of us, this causes chronic furrows or creases. Lines can get etched into the skin even at an early age. The best treatment for smile lines is Botox which is very effective at softening these lines. Skin tightening techniques with a laser can sometimes also improve smile lines. If the lines are very deep or visible at rest, the addition of a filler to "fill" the lines further can be very useful.
