Excess Sweating of Palms, Soles, Underarms

Severe sweating, a medical condition known as hyperhidrosis and which involves overactive sweat glands, can affect the underarms (axillae), hands and feet. In individuals with severe hyperhidrosis, it is common to ruin clothing from excessive sweating which can be very socially distressing. The most effective treatment for this condition is Botox injections which can be done in the axillae and in hands and feet. Prescription antiperspirants may help in milder cases.
